It is done!!!! I mixed the crap outta this for hours and still couldn’t get the lead guitar to sit well, but I think it still turned out okay. Y’all know how this works. Below this post is the reblogged divine masterpiece that inspired this VERY sugary sweet yet savory interpretation you hear now. I pulled out a lot of techniques from my works in 2010-2011 and added an almost annoyingly buttery synth-pop aesthetic. And of course to top it off, the summer sounds of all too accessible rhythm guitars. Not sure why I’m insulting myself, this was a lot of fun to do, and I’m proud, actually.
I think I did pretty well capturing the sound of these images. What do you think?
